Programme Synopsis

A new year approaching means Individual Income Tax season is upon us once again. Are you updated on the latest developments in personal income tax? Look forward to the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals’ annual collaboration with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore to unpack the tax changes for YA 2026, gain insights into determining individuals’ tax residency and learn about key system enhancements and changes to income information submission by employers and intermediaries of self-employed persons.

Don’t miss out the opportunity to hear directly from the tax authority officers on e-filing and the benefits of filing early of Partnership Income Tax Return (Form P); as well as the tax treatment of income and benefits for social media influencers. Come strengthen your compliance strategy and clarify all your doubts on the newest tax regulations!

Programme Outline

  • Know the tax changes for individuals and businesses for YA 2026
  • Gain insights into determining individuals’ tax residency
  • Get updates on:
    - System enhancements to submission of income information by employers and intermediaries of self-employed persons (SEPs)
    - Key changes to submission of income information by commission-paying organisation
  • Grasp the filing of Partnership Income Tax Return (Form P):
    - E-Filing of Form P using the Partnership Allocation Template (PAT) for partnerships with more than 10 partners
    - Encourage partnership to e-File early by 28 February 2026 to enjoy pre-filling benefits
  • Understand the taxation of income and benefits received by social media influencers (SMIs)

Rahyu drives IRAS’ education efforts and develops practical resources to make tax concepts easy for small businesses to understand.
