Programme Synopsis

Since the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA)’s launch of the e-invoicing initiative in 2019, many companies have adopted it to improve efficiency, reduce cost, enjoy faster digital payment, and of course, stay green in the process. Various countries across the world are also adopting e-invoicing via the Peppol network, allowing a more seamless transaction among overseas business counter parties.

Fast forward to 2024, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has announced a phased adoption of InvoiceNow for GST-registered businesses, starting from November 2025. From 1 May 2025, GST-registered businesses are encouraged to voluntarily adopt InvoiceNow to transmit invoice data to IRAS for tax administration purposes.

Join the teams from IMDA and IRAS for this comprehensive session to help participants gain a deeper understanding of what InvoiceNow is. Learn what it takes to effectively implement this to reap the benefits and efficiency of adopting direct transmission of e-invoices from one finance system to another without human intervention, speeding up invoice processing which results in faster digital payments.

Programme Outline

  • Discover the benefits of InvoiceNow and learn how becoming part of the network can enhance your invoicing efficiency
  • Understand the implementation process better through case studies of the InvoiceNow onboarding process
  • Gain clarity by knowing the misconceptions of InvoiceNow
  • GST InvoiceNow Requirement – Understand the invoice data flow via InvoiceNow network, know the timelines, mandatory transactions, and steps for early adoption
  • Be familiar with the various resources available to guide and facilitate companies in the adoption of InvoiceNow
