Jonathan Belec brings extensive transfer pricing (TP) experience in Singapore, China, and Canada and serves clients across various sectors, including automotive, consumer products, industrial, life sciences, oil and gas, real estate, semiconductor, shipping and logistics, and telecommunications.
As a TP practitioner, Jonathan has advised clients on global transfer pricing compliance, country-by-country reporting, transfer pricing controversies, transfer pricing aspects of BEPS 2.0, advance pricing agreements, operating model effectiveness, operational transfer pricing, shared services centres, centralized procurement strategies, and intellectual property tax planning.
Prior to his role in EY Singapore, Jonathan had previously lectured on transfer pricing at the University of Montreal, Canada, and served as a tax policy advisor for the Department of Finance Canada. He is a CFA Charterholder of the CFA Institute and holds an MA in Economics from Queen’s University, Canada.
