Programme Synopsis

Countries across the world have been grappling with the unpredictable COVID-19 crisis – India is no exception. The Union Budget 2021-22 has been announced with a multitude of measures to spur the recovery of its economy. As  one of the forerunners in levying digital taxes, India has clarified the scope of online activities and consideration encompassed in its Equalization Levy.

Moreover, several tax cases have revealed significant insights into the intricacies of the law. In particular, a two-decade old controversy over the characterisation of software payments made by Indian customers to non-resident taxpayers was finally put to rest.

In a world where change is the only constant, join in this complimentary webinar on India Taxation which promises to keep you up to date on the latest developments! Facilitated by Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) Mr Rohan Solapurkar, Tax Partner at Deloitte Singapore, come acquire novel insights into the considerations that companies in Singapore with, or are looking to establish presence in India, should take note of.
