Hin Hin is currently a Deputy Director with the IRAS Goods and Services Tax (GST) Division and leads a team that oversees the Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme, Tax Governance Framework and audits of large businesses.
Hin Hin has more than 10 years of experience in GST work and has undertaken various functions in the GST Division ranging from the GST registration of businesses to compliance to policy and technical review. She was also seconded to the Ministry of Finance from 2014 – 2016 where she handled GST policies and legislative amendments. Hin Hin is an Accredited Tax Specialist for GST and a trainer for Tax Academy’s GST Level 1 programme.

Prior to joining KPMG, he was in practice as a tax lawyer for eight years, after leaving IRAS where he was concurrently Chief Legal Officer and Chief Valuer.
Yew Kwong has argued a number of tax cases before the courts and the Boards of Review and he is one of the authors of the
Real Estate and Taxation in Singapore, published by World Scientific in 2022.
