Practical GST Considerations Amidst COVID-19 by Koh Soo How, Koh SH & Associates

As tax professionals, together with the rest of the world, gear up to manage in the new normal, the SCTP organised a series of lunch-time webinars to aid the accredited tax professionals and businesses understand current tax issues and be better positioned to steer ahead.
To reinforce the understanding of how various tax functions have evolved, key tax areas – Goods and Services Tax, Individual Tax, Transfer Pricing, and tax controversy amidst much uncertainty – were discussed virtually. The series was immensely popular, and each session was over-subscribed many times over.
During each session, members had the opportunity to pose questions and gain fresh insights on practical issues. The robust exchange in some sessions saw these webinars ending way past the hour.
Beyond the hour-long lunch-time sessions, a live webinar busting the myth and cutting to the core of services transactions also kept the participants at the edge of their seats at home.
SCTP’s recent webinars were also a first for some attendees who had not attended any prior webinars. Overall, the webinars were a hit. Practically everyone gave the thumbs up with many penning positive feedbacks.
Check out what some of the attendees commented below:
“Interesting perspective and experience sharing.”
“Well delivered and insightful on the future of the tax profession”
“Presenter was great in squeezing in so much into a one-hour session.”
“(The webinar was) a great way to share ideas.”
“Speaker touched on the current topics which I believe are on everyone’s list!”
