The annual Budget Season dawned upon us again in February. To shed light on these changes and what these mean for businesses and Singaporeans, SCTP’s board member - Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax & GST), Mrs Chung-Sim Siew Moon, Asia-Pacific Tax Policy and Controversy (TPC) Leader and Partner, Ernst & Young Solutions LLP - helmed the panel discussion at the annual ISCA Budget Seminar 2020.
The panel discussion was preceded by a presentation by fellow board member - Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax & GST) Prof Sum Yee Loong – where he explained with much clarity, the various budget changes.
Tapping on the expertise of the established specialists to uplift the profession’s knowledge, SCTP did just that with two Tax Excellence Decoded (TED) sessions before business activities were curbed island-wide to stem out the spread of the coronavirus.
Sharing on the Thrills and Spills of Transfer Pricing in Commodities, Adriana Calderon, Director of Transfer Pricing Solutions Asia, received many accolades from the audience. Charles Li, Associate Director, Tax & Private Client Services of Drew & Napier, too had participants at the edge of their seats with a walk-through of the evolving sentencing regime.
Join us at our next TED with various tax thought leaders!
