The Profession’s Voice

SCTP acts as the bridge in forging close relations between the public sector and the profession. Through its various technical committees, SCTP represents the profession in engaging with the authorities on tax administration, practices and applications of tax laws, to promote tax policies and rules that are sustainable, of substance and pro-business.

By highlighting practical insights and perspectives from the field as well as providing inputs on emerging developments, these committees support SCTP’s role as the voice of the profession.

Through these two-way engagements, accredited tax professionals are not only updated on national tax developments but also on the underlying rationale and considerations behind various policies and tax laws. Such insights equip SCTP members with greater confidence in their advisory to clients and/ or management.
